VIEW FULL PROGRAM GUIDE
Students are introduced to and taught to feel comfortable in the water. We will adjust class to meet the individual needs of the class and work at a comfortable pace in a safe environment. [Guardians are required to accompany the children in the water.]
Students are introduced to and taught to feel comfortable in the water. They will learn safe, elementary level water skills that will provide a base for advanced training.
Students are introduced to water safety and begin to learn basic swim techniques and skills with guided support. For ages 5-9
Students learn basic self-help rescue skills, as well as fundamental skills such as floating without support. For ages 5-11
Students will begin basic stroke patterns, including front and back crawl, and refine skills such as treading water. Must be able to complete all skills in Levels 2. Must be able to float on stomach and back WITHOUT assistance. For ages 5-11
Teens tend to progress quicker so we would like to provide them with their own class. This class is specifically designed to move a little faster, while still covering all phases of swimming for safety and fun.
There is no level or skills requirement for the adult swim lessons, we will adjust class to meet the individual needs of the class and work at a comfortable pace in a safe environment.
Students will begin to develop confidence in basic water skills and progress to other fundamentals. For ages 15 years or older
Learn to Swim Class for special needs children. The program will be designed to teach swimming and safety skills.
From beginners to experienced lake-goers, The Kroc Center has swim lessons for every stage of your child's swimming experience. .
HOW TO SIGN UP
The Kroc Aquatic Swim School lessons are waiting for you! Unless otherwise noted, youth level lessons & adult level lessons last 30 minutes. Most classes are held with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 participants. There will be no refunds after completion of week 1. There are no makeups for missed classes unless canceled by Kroc Center. Participants cannot change from weekday class to weekend class, but you may enroll in both and get two classes per week with each class being a separate charge. Free Swim Lesson Level Evaluations are available by appointment to help you choose an appropriate level for your child. Please contact Jim Warner Aquatics Supervisor to schedule your appointment via email James.Warner@USE.Salvationarmy.org
The Kroc Aquatics Center has created the Swim Team Program to to provide children with the ability to develop their swimming techniques, competitively swim, and also learn how to become a part of a team. To be a part of the Swim Team Program, you must be a Kroc Member in good standing. The fee to be a part of the Swim Team, after membership fees is available in our program guide and could vary each month depending on number of days in the month, holidays, special events or meets. The Kroc Center Swim Coaches are working to create both a fun and positive environment for the kids to learn and become better swimmers as well as individuals. Swim Team practice happens every week Monday through Thursday 6-7:50pm.
