Drop-in Group Exercise Classes

Drop-in group fitness classes are a perfect way to learn a new skill, make friends, or improve your fitness. Now offering a variety of activities including water aerobics, Zumba®, bootcamp, circuit training, yoga and many more. Dozens of classes are offered for all fitness types and abilities. *Ages 13-15 Must attend KID FIT.

Kid Fit is a class that prepares teenagers for the rights and responsibilities of an adult by teaching safety, health, wellness and Kroc Center policy.

GROUP EXERCISE CLASS DESCRIPTION: LAND & WATER

LAND

 

Ab Blaster: Core strength class focusing on building abdominal muscles. This 30 mins class and that is all you need.

 

$BoxFit: This cardio strength workout incorporates interval training with technical boxing instruction.

 

Circuit Training: Body conditioning and resistance training using high-intensity aerobics.

 

Core & More: This class offers exercises that focus on strengthening and toning the mid-section of your body.

 

Fun Family Fitness: A whole family, full body workout that incorporates cardio, strength and flexibility.

 

Hip Hop Dance: You asked for it...You got it.  Get fit by learning and practicing dance moves to the beats and rhythms of Hip Hop music. (Family friendly lyrics)

 

$Kickboxing/ HIIT Circuit: Kick Boxing Fitness and High Intensity Interval Training will prove to burn calories at a high rate and improve your cardiovascular fitness.

 

Line Dancing: Dancers line up in a row without partners and follow a choreographed pattern of steps to music.

 

$MASSF: This is a sports performance class for serious athletes.  Athletes of any sport can participate.

*$Pickleball: Played with a paddle on a court, Pickleball is a cross between badminton, tennis, and ping-pong. Ages 16+.

 

Pilates: Improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.

 

Senior Steppers: Bring fellowship and fitness alive with fun dance step routines.  This  is a great low to medium intensity cardio-aerobic class that will help with balance, coordination, and endurance.

 

Spin: Indoor cycling is a cardiovascular, butt-kicking workout that takes us on a stationary but sweaty ride of your life.

 

Spin, Strength & Core: Full body workout using spin cycle dumbbells and core exercises.

 

Step Aerobics: An aerobics class using the step with emphasis on hips, thighs, abdominals, and buttocks.

 

Step & Sculpt: Step aerobic routine combined with strength training intervals give you a complete cardio and strength training workout. Excellent cross-trainings. Class for all skill and fitness levels.

 

Stretch Time: Increasing flexibility through stretching is one of the basic tenets of physical fitness. It’s helps with lengthen and elongating the muscles as well as increases range of motion. This low intensity class is appropriate for all fitness levels.

 

Yoga: Discipline, which includes breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures.

 

Zumba: A dance fitness class with vibrant music that combines interval low impact training with exhilarating Latin rhythms.

 

WATER

 

Aqua Zumba: There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba class so you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles.

 

River Walking: No Instructor Adults Only

 

Flow-idity: Helps with mobility and chronic pain.

 

Aqua Therapy: Low energy low impact

 

Aqua Cardio & Strength: Develops all muscle groups using water resistance movements and weights.
